Brahmrakshas is an entity that has all the knowledge about
different kinds of Vedas and the cosmos. They are those types of rakshas who
don’t mean to be one. They are the most dangerous as well as most non-dangerous
creatures because their actions will be determined by their anger issues. If
you succeeded in making these entities angry, congratulations, you are about
to die. Or maybe more than just die, you may feel the enormous energy to do
something they want you to. Even if it means that you have to kill yourselves
or do some pretty bad things. But don’t worry.
These creatures are not very simple to be found. The most
common places where you see a Brahmrakshas can be on top of a tree of pipal.
So next time you want to pee under a tree or puff your cigars or maybe anything
you want under a tree then just remember to have a look at the tree first.
It’s not like you can see a Brahmraksha with your bare eyes
but you can always see if that tree is pipal or any other sacred tree.
Coming to our story is the story of a boy who once felt this
entity’s rage. And you guys will be shocked to see what happened to him at the
end.
Starting from 1800, when India is under the British Empire many
more Indians starts working for the British government because of their impressive
pay scale. Many kings were defeated by the Britishers and the same was going on
for many villages. Among those many villages, there was a boy named Varun (His
name is not confirmed as different names were used by different sources, so let's
call him Varun.)
Varun is a great athlete with a gifted knowledge of the architecture
sciences of that time. He was well known for his hunting skills and excellent problem-solving
capacity. From some sources, it was confirmed that he was praised by multiple
kings and even some British high-rank officers too.
One day when Varun was coming back home after completing his
work, he was making some maps for new infrastructures for some king's palace. Varun
was already late and decided to spend his night under an unknown tree. He was
way too tired to think about anything and fell asleep as soon as he lay down. When
he woke up it was already morning and he was very hungry at that time. He was
always a vegetarian but while working for the British government he started
eating non-vegetarian food. To his surprise, he liked the way they tasted and
wanted to have this taste one more time. Because of his village’s rule, he can't
have any kind of meat as food so he decided to hunt something last time and
have it for food.
Taking his sharp knife in his hands, he started to look for something
to hunt. After so many hours later he got tired of this and finally found a
small baby cow. He was not going to hunt a baby cow because cows were sacred
and most Indians worship cows. He was very angry about this situation and took
a gun from his bag. As he worked for the Britishers he bought a gun from someone
illegally so he could impress his crush and ask her to marry him. That gun was
loaded and he angrily tried to shoot in the air but for some reason that gun struck
a tree branch.
Varun was already angry and now his only gun was struck by a
tree’s branch, which made him even angrier when he pulled that branch to free
his gun, that gun fell on the ground and automatically shot its fire. That bullet
pierced through the cow’s head and that baby died instantly.
After watching this incident, he was very surprised and afraid
at the same time. He doesn’t want anyone to find out that he accidentally
killed a cow so he decides to bury him. But with being empty stomach at the
same time, his mind flipped and he decided to have a taste of that cow. He cooked
that cow and ate it, and then he burned everything that was left.
He was already very late doing this and decided to stay
under that same tree for that night too. When he lay down and closed his eyes,
someone called his name. he was shocked to hear a familiar voice. When he hears
that voice one more time it portrays his crush’s voice. Hearing the voice of
his crush he is so excited that he wishes to see her. There were so many
lustful thoughts going on in his mind that he just ran into the woods to find
her.
[ There was not enough information about what he did in the woods
and what happened that night further.]
Back to next day morning, he finally arrived at his village.
Villagers were too happy to see him as he was the first man who worked for
kings and had to new cities. Villagers welcome him and his authors bring him
food and many great things. Some children visited him to hear his story of cities
and his adventures. But everyone is amazed at how Varun is now behaving. He was
numb and his eyes didn’t blink. There is something on his face that feels off
and he behaves like someone bewitched him.
He doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep and doesn’t talk to anyone
including his family for a whole week and when he finally starts to behave like
humans. He has done some most disgusting things ever seen by villagers.
According to many people and sources, villagers saw him
eating his shit sometimes. Roaming naked in straight daylight. Sometimes people
caught him having sex with their animals. And these things became more gross
with time. As one more week passed his behaviour kept getting worse and worse.
Some sources provide important information on his second-week
activities. He eats his tongue, kills his brother and eats his corpses too.
Villagers were not so disturbed by his activities that they
decided to punish him. They tied Varun to a tree and told him to stop doing
anything. But Varun is unstoppable now. Being tied to that tree he starts eating
his flash. He even ate his tooth. Then one day the head of the village decided
to kill him and the villagers finally agreed on that, but after hanging him
everyone was so terrified when they found out he was not dead. They try to cut his
arms off and wait for his body to shred all blood but still, he is alive and starts
eating his hands.
One of the villagers decides to invite a sage when he arrives
and diagnoses Varun. He told everyone about what exactly was happening to him. He
told everyone that he did something more sinful under the eyes of a brahmrakshas
and now he is taking his revenge no matter what they do. He will not be stopped.
The only method to save Varun is to burn him. Until his body
is demolished, his curse will not be separated from his soul.
Villagers did the same and they finally got rid of Varun. But
some people say that even now his screams can be heard when you reach near that
same tree he was tied.
Well, these are something that no one wants to believe but
the real question is: Is he dead?
Or is he still suffering?
